RECONSTRUCTION OF SCHIZOPHRENIA GENE NETWORK IN SEARCH FOR TARGET GENES

Nowadays, schizophrenia is a poorly understood disease with variety of symptoms attributed to other malconditions, and controversial diagnosis without well-defined treatment. Target therapy implies gene network reconstruction, clustering, identification ontology categories genes the largest number contacts.
 The aim study analyze schizophrenia-associated genes, determine their position in network, establish correlation, identify key related disease, evaluate them as target for drug therapy.
 Materials Methods. authors analyzed currently relevant data on using such online databases OMIM, PANTHER, DAVID, GeneMANIA, STRING-DB, GeneCards. They calculated ontologies 200 biological processes, molecular functions cellular compartments that reflect impact transmission neuronal impulses. also visualized built networks containing identified objects interaction, most (COMT, DISC1, HTR2A, NRXN1) strongly connected cluster, including BDNF, SLC6A4, HTR2C, CHRM1, SRC, AKT, YWHAE, DRD2, COMT, NDEL1, NOS1, CAMK28, etc.
 Results. interpretation results obtained still great challenge, since genetically complex numerous causes triggering events. Analysis (connectivity) makes it possible find out prospects therapy.
